Meet Brad Walsh – New Regional Sales Manager
Any time we have a chance to add exceptional talent to the team at Water-Right … it’s big news. That’s especially true when we bring someone on board who can make the Clear Choice Water Group even stronger.
Brad Walsh is that kind of guy. He brings extensive experience in sales as well as water treatment. It all started when he was growing up in Maine.
“I spent my summers installing and servicing swimming pools and continued this throughout college,” he says. “I quickly realized at a young age how water could enhance or detract from one’s quality of life.”
Brad has worked in sales for Grainger and spent five years with Pentair where he came in contact with many manufacturers, dealers, and distributors of water treatment equipment.
While living in Gainesville, Florida, Brad served on the state’s Water Quality Association board (FWQA) where he chaired the education committee. He’s learned that change and innovation are crucial for our industry’s growth.
“Working in Florida, I was constantly hearing ‘this is how we have always done it,'” Brad says. “I feel an open mind, embracing new ideas, and technology will only make your business more relevant and you more valuable to your customers. I enjoyed my time with the FWQA and the opportunity to arrange educational opportunities for their members.”
A commitment to education and innovation are something Brad appreciates about the CCWG culture as well.
“It became clear on my first visit to Water-Right that the organization is all about ‘fit,’” he explains. “Being a CCWG dealer means you ‘fit’ Water-Right’s vision and operate your business in an ethical and professional manner. It is also clear that CCWG dealers value education, technology, and collaboration with their peers for the benefit of themselves, others, and the industry as a whole. I am very excited to work with the CCWG dealers and meet the entire network at next year’s convention.”
Brad and his wife Jennifer, an assistant professor at James Madison University, live in Harrisonburg, Virginia with their three-year-old son Griffin.
“This summer we spent a week in New England and are planning a week at Virginia Beach in August,” Brad says. “I thoroughly enjoy playing golf and have been trying to fit more rounds in this summer. We have also been enjoying time at the pool as well our brand new chocolate lab puppy.”
Evolve and WaterCare dealers in West Virginia, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Florida, Georgia, Eastern Tennessee, and Eastern Kentucky can look forward to working with Brad Walsh and welcoming him to the team in the coming months.
